BPC-157 upregulates FAK-paxillin signalling and the nitric oxide (NO) system to accelerate cell migration and angiogenesis. It interacts with the dopaminergic and serotonergic systems, providing CNS effects alongside peripheral tissue repair. Via transmucosal delivery, BPC-157 is absorbed through the oral or nasal mucosa, enters systemic circulation, and reaches gastrointestinal tissue via direct contact (oral) and systemic distribution.
