Injectable NAD+ has a well-established safety profile from decades of clinical IV use. With injectable use, the most commonly reported effects are transient flushing, warmth, chest tightness, or 'niacin flush'-like sensations during and shortly after administration: these are normal physiological responses to NAD+ metabolism and resolve within minutes. Slowing the rate of administration typically reduces these sensations. Mild nausea or headache has been occasionally reported. No serious adverse events have been documented with standard subcutaneous dosing protocols. Long-term effects in preclinical models are universally beneficial.
