AC-Semax-NH2 has a generally excellent tolerability profile established through decades of use of Semax and its derivatives. The most commonly reported effects are mild anxiety or edge/overstimulation at higher doses (manageable with AC-Selank co-administration), transient increased emotional sensitivity, and occasional headache. Some users report mild irritability in the first few days as dopaminergic tone increases. Insomnia if dosed late in the day is possible. No significant cardiovascular, renal, or hepatic effects have been documented. Regular cycling prevents receptor downregulation.
