Showing records relevant to Bronchogen.

Preclinical animal

Effect of the peptide bronchogen (Ala-Asp-Glu-Leu) on DNA thermostability.

Key finding

The study reports that bronchogen increased the melting temperature of DNA from calf thymus and mouse liver by 3.1°C in a narrow range of r (molar ratio of bronchogen/DNA b.p., 0.01-0.055).

Bulletin of experimental biology and medicine 2011

Direct Bronchogen evidence. Relevant to Bronchogen

PubMed
Preclinical animal

[ANTIINFLAMMATORY AND REGENERATIVE EFFECT OF PEPTIDE THERAPY IN THE MODEL OF OBSTRUCTIVE LUNG PATHOLOGY].

Key finding

The study reports that following the course of peptide treatment the decreased activity of neutrophilic inflammation with the normalization of cellular composition and profile of pro-inflammatory cytokines and enzymes in the bronchoalveolar space was observed.

PubMed
Preclinical animal

Modulating Effect of Peptide Therapy on the Morphofunctional State of Bronchial Epithelium in Rats with Obstructive Lung Pathology.

Key finding

The study reports that enhanced production of secretory IgA, a local immunity marker, attested to normalization of functional activity of bronchial epithelium, while normalization of cell composition and profile of proinflammatory cytokines in the bronchoalveolar space reflected reduction of neutrophilic inflammation.

Bulletin of experimental biology and medicine 2015

Research relevant to Bronchogen. Relevant to Bronchogen

PubMed
Preclinical animal

[The tissue-specific effect of synthetic peptides-biologic regulators in organotypic tissues culture in young and old rats].

Key finding

The study reports that the peptide effective concentration of 0.05 ng/ml showed a stimulating effect in appropriate tissue cultures as compared to the control explants in all groups of rats.

Advances in gerontology = Uspekhi gerontologii 2006

Research relevant to Bronchogen. Relevant to Bronchogen

PubMed
Laboratory study

Peptides tissue-specifically stimulate cell differentiation during their aging.

Key finding

The study reports that reduced expression of these differentiation markers was detected in late-passage (aging) cultures.

Bulletin of experimental biology and medicine 2012

Research relevant to Bronchogen. Relevant to Bronchogen

PubMed
Laboratory study

Penetration of short fluorescence-labeled peptides into the nucleus in HeLa cells and in vitro specific interaction of the peptides with deoxyribooligonucleotides and DNA.

Key finding

The study reports that the site-specific interactions of peptides with DNA can control epigenetically the cell genetic functions, and they seem to play an important role in regulation of gene activity even at the earliest stages of life origin and in evolution.

Short Exogenous Peptides Regulate Expression of CLE, KNOX1, and GRF Family Genes in Nicotiana tabacum.

Key finding

The study reports that exogenous short biologically active peptides epitalon (Ala-Glu-Asp-Gly), bronchogen (Ala-Glu-Asp-Leu), and vilon (Lys-Glu) at concentrations 10-7-10-9 M significantly influence growth, development, and differentiation of tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum) callus cultures.
