Recombinant human growth hormone and rosiglitazone for abdominal fat accumulation in HIV-infected patients with insulin resistance: a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, factorial trial.

In adults with HIV-associated abdominal obesity, rhGH reduced visceral fat by 22.7% over 12 weeks versus 1.9% in controls, while glucose measures worsened in the rhGH arm.

Effects of growth hormone in patients with tibial fracture: a randomised, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial.

Growth hormone did not accelerate healing across all tibial fractures, but the prespecified closed-fracture subgroup healed in a median 95 days versus 129 days with placebo.
